Fynn is an independent expert on waste and circular economy legislation. Previously, he worked as Senior Policy Officer for Waste and Circular Economy at the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), Europe’s largest federation of environmental organisations. Prior to joining the EEB, he worked as a consultant on privately and publicly funded research projects in the fields of circular economy and waste management. He specialises in overarching waste legislation and sector-specific policies, including those concerning electronic waste and end-of-life vehicles. Fynn holds a master’s degree in Environmental Management and Policy and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies, completed at universities in Germany, Peru and Sweden. He has also gained international experience through projects with the German development agency GIZ in India, the Asian Development Bank in Kazakhstan, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Austria and a municipal waste management company in Sweden.
